Challenge
Before Giftcloud were called in, Vodafone were not achieving the return on investment (ROI) they required and the publisher was unable to justify boosting promotions due to the earnings per click (EPC) being below average.
Our challenge was clear from the start:
- Increase sales driving activity
- Improve the customer journey
- Reduce customer queries and grow the partnership between Vodafone and Uswitch
Initially, customer conversion had been lower than expected, so a further 5% was required to meet the forecast justification for the exposure.
This would result in a further 30% increase in sales volume so it was imperative to keep the customer query rate below 1%, given the market average of 1.4%.
Results
By intelligently adding a gift card to the mix to account for shopping seasonality, combined with Uswitch sponsored listings, Vodafone achieved an uplift in sales of over 370% on average during year one.
